Mary stays with her mother and two other siblings. The father ran off and got married to another woman, leaving the family in a difficult situation. Mary's mother is ill and faces challenges in providing for the children on her own. Despite the hardships, Mary and her family have found support through the YES Uganda scholarship program.
 
This program has been instrumental in helping Mary continue her education and providing stability for the family during these tough times. With access to education and support, Mary is now able to pursue her dreams and build a better future for herself and her siblings.
