Rebecca is a bright and caring girl who lives with her mother and younger sister in a small rented room. Life changed when her father walked away from the family, leaving her mother to care for the children on her own.
 
To provide for her daughters, Rebecca’s mum works hard sewing clothes and taking small jobs wherever she can. But no matter how hard she tries, it’s a daily struggle to cover school fees, rent, and basic needs. Rebecca loves school and dreams of becoming someone who can help her family and others in the future. She’s determined, full of potential, and hopeful that things can get better. With the support of the YES Uganda sponsorship program, Rebecca would have the chance to stay in school consistently, focus on her studies, and grow in a stable, supportive environment.
