Stella is a gentle and determined young girl who has faced many challenges in her life. She is a total orphan and currently lives with her paternal aunt, who is also caring for Stella’s two siblings. The aunt, a kind and hardworking woman, has five children of her own. Together, all ten family members live in a small house that belongs to Stella’s grandmother.
 
To provide for them, the aunt makes and sells handcrafts, but her income is very limited. Despite these difficulties, Stella remains hopeful and focused on her education. She dreams of staying in school and building a better future—not just for herself, but for her siblings and the aunt who has taken them in with love. With support from the YES Uganda sponsorship program, Stella can continue her education without the constant fear of being sent home for lack of school fees.
