Michael comes from a vulnerable family facing many challenges. After the loss of his father, Michael’s mother now stays with his grandmother while a permanent house is still under construction. Michael is one of four young children in the family.
As he is still in the lower classes at school, his mother plays a vital role in supporting both his education and the needs of the entire household. To help the family become more stable and self-reliant, the program is working to strengthen Michael’s mother economically, enabling her to care for her children more effectively.
 
With this support, Michael is being given the chance to stay in school and grow up in a more secure and hopeful environment. The family remains determined to rise above their challenges and build a better future together.
