Kezia’s life has taken many unexpected turns. Her mother, a former cleaner at Manna Rescue Home, now lives in Entebbe where she works as a maid to support the family (which is 7 hour drive from her home and her village)

During this difficult time, Kezia was taken in by someone who has given her a safe and caring home. This act of kindness has made a huge difference in her life.

Now part of the YES Uganda program, Kezia is receiving the support she needs to stay in school and grow up in a nurturing environment. With this help, she is beginning to find stability and hope for a brighter future.
