Josey lives in a household that has faced deep hardship. After the death of her father, her mother was left to care for six children on her own. Sadly, her mother is now suffering from kidney disease and is under the care of Catholic sisters who have stepped in to support the family during this difficult time. Despite the challenges, the love and care they receive has helped provide a sense of stability.
 
Now part of the YES Uganda program, Josey is receiving the support she needs to continue her education and grow up in a safer, more hopeful environment. With this help, she and her family are beginning to see a brighter future ahead.
