Ellen comes from a home that has faced many challenges. After the death of her father, her mother was left to care for six children on her own. Sadly, her mother is now suffering from kidney disease and is being looked after by Catholic sisters who have stepped in to support the family during this difficult time.
 
Despite the hardship, Ellen continues to show strength and determination. Now part of the YES Uganda program, she is receiving the care and support she needs to stay in school and build a brighter future.
 
With this help, Ellen is beginning to experience stability, hope, and the chance to grow up in a safer and more supportive environment.
