Daisy is a bright and kind 10-year-old girl who lives in a small mud house in the village with her mother and older sister's. Life at home is far from easy. Her mother sells alcohol from the house, which often makes the environment unsafe and unpredictable for a young child. Her father is not in her life and is nowhere to be seen. Despite this, Daisy does her best to stay strong and focused.
 
She admires her sister's, who is already in the YES Uganda sponsorship program. Daisy dreams of going to school every day and having a safe space to learn and grow. But with the difficult conditions at home and no stable income, school fees are often out of reach. With support from the YES Uganda sponsorship program, Daisy could attend school consistently, find stability, and be given the chance to build a better, safer future for herself.
