Thank You!

Thank You!

Because of your generous donations we were able to feed 575 people the week of Christmas!  We identified 115 of the most needy families and our staff worked hard to distribute it.  Each family received 100 pounds of maize flour, 50 pounds of cassava flour, 25 pounds of beans, 25 pounds of rice, 5 pounds of gnut paste and a package of cooking oil.

This grandmother takes care of 11 orphaned children.  We were able to give them new blankets, mattresses and food.

The children at Manna Rescue Home returned to their villages to stay with relatives during the Christmas break.  We usually provide a party for them but with COVID restrictions we unfortunately weren’t able to do that this year.  Because of your generous donations, we were able to provide the children and their families with a present, 2 months worth of food and blankets.  We hope and pray for their safety as they travel and visit with their relatives.

We lost a dear friend

On Christmas Day we lost a dear friend and wonderful employee.  Catherine was so alive and always vibrant with a smile and positive outlook.  She worked at Manna Rescue Home and she will be extremely missed.  She’s survived by 4 small children including a 3 week old baby.  Our hearts break for her family.  Because of some generous donations that came into our general fund we are able to help her family during this tragic time.  Please keep them in your prayers.

A New Staff Member

We would like to introduce you to the newest YES staff member, Geoffrey.
