World-Up Partnerships
We have built successful partnership. Out of these partnerships we have been able to disseminate information on the need for employment creation and entrepreneurship culture development in different parts of the country.
Open Space Technology

YES partnered with an EU organisation called world Up to implement a youth project on active citizenship. It is one of the new projects on board. This particular project YES - Uganda is the host organisation. Both European and African countries participate in this project. These countries include; Kenya, Tanzania, Germany, Poland and Austria under the umbrella of the European Union which is the main funder of all the activities. YES was able to organise a planning meeting in March 2009 and later on active citizenship seminar in June 2009. 50 participants were attracted from Europe and Africa.
Debate to Action
The Global Change Maker is another new project in which we are taking part. It was initiated and funded by the British Council. In this project participants are drawn from various countries which include; Kenya, Gambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Malawi, and Tanzania.
This is a community based project funded by British Council. YES received a grant to sensitize youth in the community on eradicating poverty. DTA focuses on creating awareness around MDGs and working with people to achieve the MDGs as set by UN.
COMPASSION UGANDA
YES partnered with Compassion Uganda to train HIV positive people. The training covered job skills such as soap making, juice making among others
UN HABITAT
The Country Coordinator developed Kampala One Stop Youth Centre project concept and design. This partnership has seen Kampala City Council (KCC) become the host organisation of KOSYC).
KYC Partnership
We have formulated a strong partnership with one of the neighbouring organisations Kawempe Youth Center. It is a very strong and commendable youth body. It offers youth friendly services including; a well equipped resource centre, computer training, and recreational facilities for the youth, career guidance, youth networking among others.
