Introduction to YES-Uganda

YES Uganda Country Network is a national coalition of youth and youth organisation, advocating for youth employment creation. The primary aim is to work with diverse stakeholders to develop capacity of individual youth and youth organisation in designing programs and projects that create youth employment.

YES is a membership organisation which is open to whoever subscribes to the goal of youth employment creation. The current membership is diverse including; youth line ministry, local governments, statutory government organs, development agencies, the private sector organisations, NGOs, youth, and youth-serving organizations.

The YES Campaign recognizes that increased individual capacity improves the livelihoods of youth and women. The YES Campaign adopted the 6 ‘’Es’’ framework, which embrace youth employability enhancement, employment creation, entrepreneurship development among youth, environment sustainability, empowerment and education.
